Here is great running 2006 Honda Odyssey EX-L Minivan 4D. We purchased this car brand new in 2006, and it has been a wonderful part of our family ever since. It helped us raise five children and carried them to countless soccer games, tennis matches, basketball games, youth activities, and family outings. It has truly been one of the most dependable vehicles we have ever owned.
Overall, it has required very few repairs over the years. At one point, the oil pan had to be replaced after an improperly threaded oil plug during a service visit. That repair was completed, and the vehicle has continued to serve us reliably since then. It does currently leak some oil. I had my mechanic check it, and his recommendation was simply to monitor and refill as needed.
This vehicle has been parked in the garage almost every night of its life. There was about a two-year period when our garage door opener was not working properly, and during that time it was parked outside. That is the reason for some fading on the passenger-side black panels near the sliding door.
Just last month, we installed new rear brakes.
All maintenance has been done professionally. I have consistently changed the oil every 3,000 miles using 5W-20 oil. This car has been well cared for and treated as a dependable member of our family.
We are moving to a smaller vehicle now that our children are grown and have families of their own. Otherwise, we would happily continue driving this car.
Please take good care of it. It has served us faithfully for many years, and I hope it does the same for you. (key # B6)
